Canowindra Cricket Club will hold there annual fundraiser for the Jane McGrath Foundation on Australia Day. The annual Twenty20 match is scheduled to begin around 10:00am with the two teams Captained by Brendan Traves, & Jake Devlin. A sausage sizzle and light refreshments are available on the day with all money raised going to the great cause. Club sponsors Tom Beath, Central West Building & Geoffrey Beath Bryton Wool, have both been invited to play in the event. With long term sponsor Canowindra Services Club, supporting the day and supplying the umpires for the match.
The T20 match is the first fundraiser for the cause with a follow up” Pink Stumps day” taking part on February 15th during the highly anticipated 1st grade match verse Valleys at Canowindra.
