The Cowra Christmas Street Festival is just around the corner, commencing at 5:30pm Friday 11 December. The event that literally stops traffic on Kendal Street in Cowra is set to impress in 2015 with crowds already excited for local entertainment, 100 market stalls, late night shopping and street food.
This is going to be one fun filled night! An exciting edition to the event this year is the Cowra Neighbourhood Centre Christmas Wonderland in Squire Park next to Target. This family friendly space offers free children’s activities and the opportunity to have your free photo with Santa and his elves.
Crowd favourites Old Kentucky Animal Farm return thanks to sponsors Lachlan Fertilizers, and will be located in the Bushman’s Boots & All courtyard while the Ray White Jumping Castle will ensure the kids are kept busy bouncing. Be sure to visit the Cowra Magpies Ham Wheel to try your luck
at winning this Christmas Day staple.
Be sure to shop local in the lead up to Christmas at stores participating in the
Cowra Christmas Cracker for your chance to win the big prize valued at up to $10,000. The prize is drawn on stage at 8:30pm and the winner must be present to win. For more information on the Cowra Christmas Street Festival contact Cowra Visitor & Information Centre on 02 6342 4333 or visit
