Cr Kevin Walker
How long have you lived in Canowindra? I have lived here all my life, having
been born in Cowra. My parents had a farm out on the Cowra Road where I grew up. I then lived on a farm which I purchased with my wife until 1980 when I moved into town. Kevin purchased the Hardware Store when he moved into town, known as Walkers Hardware. He then sold it in 2005 after 25 years. When Kevin retired he was elected Councillor for Cabonne Council in 2008 and is in now in his 8th year as a Councillor. Kevin has been married to Annette for 47 years, and has two sons, Nathan and Darren. He is a proud grandfather to six grandchildren, three by each son. Kevin starts his day with a cup of coffee, and a slice of toast, and he likes a cappuccino coffee.
