Rustic Notions… Our Business

5 December, 2013 By Canowindra Phoenix Editor

In Cargo there sits a little old shop. Once a community hall, it sat abandoned for a period of time until David & Heidi Stedman breathed new life into it, turning the store into a buzzing coffee shop – Rustic Notions.

Providing light lunches for hungry drivers, and that mid-morning ‘caffeine-fix’, Rustic Notions was opened in April of this year, and the owners’ haven’t looked back.

“We are surprised with how well the store is going. Cargo is such a nice little town, and there are so many people driving through.” Owner, Heidi said.

The couples’ love of rustic, ‘old things’ is evident as you walk through the store, which has been tastefully decorated, providing a perfect mix between old and new.

Originally providing coffee, tea & cake, Rustic Notions now provide light lunches accompanied with local salad dressings between 11am – 230pm.

Just a short drive from Canowindra, Rustic Notions is the perfect place to go when one needs a little ‘pick-me-up’ and provides plenty of space for catching up with family and friends.
