How long have you lived in Canowindra? Since 1954-1955 from Rivers Road where I was a farmer by trade.
What do you love most about Canowindra? It’s a nice little peaceful place.
How long have you been collecting vintage cars? 50 to 60 years.
Do you have any hobbies? I collected gem stones and coins for more than 50 years.
What is your favourite car of all time? It’s hard to say a favourite – there have been a lot of good ones.
Have you travelled outside of Australia? I spent 6 months in New York State and 6 months in Kentucky in USA – in those days it took 28 hours to fly the Pacific. I travelled the UK, and Europe not that long after WWII.
What was your first car? FJ Holden Ute.
Tell us something most people don’t know about you? I spent six years on the Boree Council before it was Cabonne!
What is the biggest change you would like to see in the world? I don’t really know, it’s going so bad.
