Where do you work?
I own a gorgeous little fashion boutique in Canowindra called Saffi.
Why did you go into retail?
I needed a change from nursing and had always been interested in fashion. I wanted to challenge myself to start something completely new and build it up.
How long have you lived in Canowindra? I grew up between Canowindra and Eugowra. I went to Sydney for university then moved around for 15 years between Sydney, Adelaide, Melbourne and overseas, then came back to live at our family farm in 2003.
Favourite thing about Canowindra? I love the social and cultural diversity here in Canowindra, and I think it’s a rare quality for a country town.
Do you have any hobbies?
I studied Silversmithing and Jewellery Design in Melbourne, so that is my favourite hobby, although I hardly have time to do it anymore.
Your worst habit?
Procrastination
Favourite place in the world?
Apart from home, I really love Switzerland and Austria.
If you won the lotto, how would you spend it?
I’d spend it quickly! I’d take my boys on an overseas adventure, do some home reno’s, invest some for kids education, then help out some others less fortunate than us.
