The 2 person Ambrose event was held on May 6th with partners being drawn from a hat. This method saw the great combination of Roslyn Partridge & Helen Constable take out the day with a 71.25 Nett.
The stroke event was held on May 13th. Margie Sharpe won the event with a 75 Nett.
Seven ladies took the time to travel to Mudgee for the Western District Tournament. The winner of the Division 1 36 hole Handicap Event was Annette Thomas, with Helen Constable taking out Tuesday’s 3rd division 18 hole competition.
Round 1 of Championships started on Tuesday and will continue throughout the next three weeks. Week 1 is the Mabel McKenzie Brooch, week 2 is the Good Will Plate, and week 3 will be the 3rd Monthly Medal and 1st Eclectic.
