The Greatest View

23 April, 2015 By Canowindra Phoenix Editor

Looking for a health kick? There are psychological benefits to jumping out of a small plane at thousands of feet, and falling through the air at top speed before opening a parachute to glide peacefully back to earth. they include stress relief, confidence building and mental rejuvenation.
‘The experience of skydiving never gets old. The excitement on the ground during preparation, the serene flight up to altitude offering picturesque views and then the jaw-dropping, heart racing thrill of free-fall – it’s an emotional roller coaster that leaves you smiling from ear to ear.’
That’s Paul Smith; pilot, tandem skydiving instructor and founder of Skydive Oz. He loves his job and says the best part is ‘seeing customers’ emotions go from nervousness to triumph so quickly’.
Paul has an appetite for skydiving, something that can only be described as one of the most exhilarating, death-defying experiences of all time: the ultimate adrenaline rush.
Skydive Oz operates tandem skydiving from over 20 locations, including towns across the Central West, Canberra and the South Coast of NSW. The company prides itself as a premium and safety focused professional skydiving service, with instructors who are passionate and well trained. The people at Skydive Oz want their customers to feel confident and relaxed so they can enjoy the remarkable experience of falling through the sky.
Skydive Oz will be doing tandem skydives in our region from Anzac Day until August. Family and friends are welcome to watch their loved ones land their parachutes on the grass, and witness the overwhelming reactions. For more information visit www.skydiveoz.com.au
