After a great start to the 2015 Canowindra International hot air balloon competition, wet weather and windy conditions sabotaged the final tasks. There were no more flights after Friday afternoon and the competition was forced to end early.
It was a close competition, with Australian World Champion Nicola Scaife taking first place, French pilot Clément Seigeot taking second place, and Sean Kavanagh placing third.
Congratulations to the winners, and all the balloonists who worked so hard to make this year’s iconic ballooning competition happen, despite the terrible weather conditions.
