Local couple Ross and Jan Bowd are celebrating their 65th Wedding Anniversary on 15th April. They were married at St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church in Canowindra in 1950 and drove to Coolangatta for their honeymoon. Both have lived, worked and been active members of the Canowindra community all their lives. Their 17 year retirement to Kingscliff was a very happy time for them both and this was followed by a return to Canowindra 2 years ago. Ross and Jan have three sons Bob, Mick and Jack, 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren who are very much part of their lives. They are a devoted couple who have achieved a wonderful milestone.
