PulseHR: Supporting Women In The Workforce

25 February, 2015 By Canowindra Phoenix Editor

Pulse HR
PulseHR founder, Tamara James, grew up where there were no limitations for what she could achieve in life, no matter her gender or locality. ‘Hard work and dreaming big goes a long way to succeeding in life’ is her personal motto. In 2010 Tamara, now a mother and wife, found herself moving back to live in rural NSW and starting a workforce consultancy business; hard work and dreaming big were still very much at the forefront of her mind.

Women, education & employment are personal interest areas for Tamara with virtually all employees at PulseHR mums with young children. PulseHR takes pride in being able to offer employment that allows staff to put their family first, enabling work & parenting to exist without a great deal of stress. Workplace flexibility is increasingly becoming an area employers are seeking advice from PulseHR on in how to achieve workplace flexibility and foster productivity.

PulseHR in conjunction with the Orange Business Chamber are currently delivering a Girl’s in Trades project support by Women NSW. The project is solely focussed on strengthening relationships between non-traditional trade employers and young ladies looking to complete their year 10 work experience or young female job seekers wishing to try a trade. There has been a fantastic response so far from employers and PulseHR are keen to hear from more young ladies before the project wraps up in April 2015. You can contact the team on 1300 362366.
Tamara will be a guest speaker at our International Women’s Day Luncheon on 5th March at the Canowindra Bowling Club. If you would like to come and listen to her speak tickets can be purchased from the Phoenix Office or by booking on 63441846.
