The pool was the coldest place to be on Friday afternoon with over 60 swimmers lined up for the 25m freestyle. The Cleary family were the stand out improvers as dad Ben smashed his PB by 8 seconds, mum Kristy obliterated her by 7 seconds while son Oscar improved his PB by 5 seconds. The Spoon semis and final will return next week.
Four lanes of eleven swimmers lined up for the relay and came down to a fingernail as lane five edged out lane four by 0.2 second. Taking home the winners pennants were Ben Cleary, his first swimming prize ever, Finlay Rowston, Regan Hughes, Claire Wright, Josie Mitchell, Marshall McKay, Eliza Mitchell, Damon McKay, Mia Earsman, and Connor Munroe.
