Canowindra is very lucky this season with the introduction of a new Swimming School. ‘’Just Keep Swimming ‘’is owned and operated by local mum Mel Stanbury. Mel saw a demand for swimming lessons and having trained and taught as a swimming teacher decided to use her skills to help local children gain a skill for life.
Mel has been in and around water her whole life and has worked as a lifeguard both in pools and beach environments as well has worked as a swimming instructor. Mel is an Austswim qualified teacher and has just completed her training with Royal Life Saving which now enables her to teach both swimming lessons and safety skills.
Just Keep Swimming will be running three terms of swimming over this season, these will start with term 4 starting on the 6th October , a 10 day intensive course during the xmas holidays and term 1 2015.
