Men’s Bowls

We had the final of the O’Brien Cup on Sunday afternoon and it was great to see three new bowlers playing in the final, with the the club supporting new bowlers by offering handicap events. Keith and Lisa had a slight advantage over Graham and Michael with the handicaps.

Graham and Michael continued their good form quickly, erasing the lead and held on to win 38/29. Lisa tried hard all game, but the consistency of the opposition paved the way for victory.

Tow Consistency matches will be played this weekend:

• Corey v Keith, the day to be decided

• Teddy v Ben at 12pm Sunday Travelling bowlers had mixed results over the weekend and more importantly enjoyed the outings.

This Friday night twilight bowls will be our pink bowls event supporting breast cancer.

Rules will be slightly different than normal and it should be a fun event. Tracey has organised a great format and we hope everyone will enjoy the night. Please were something pink and dress up for the occasion.

Badge draws for this week are Wednesday $750, Friday $1,100 and Sunday $450.
