The Lifeline Central West Training Team invite community members to join them for LivingWorks ASIST, an internationally recognised suicide intervention training that equips participants with practical skills to help save lives.
LivingWorks ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training) is the worldrenowned gold standard in suicide intervention training.
This interactive two-day workshop equips participants with the practical skills, confidence, and understanding to recognise when someone may be at risk of suicide, provide immediate support, and help create a pathway to safety.
No prior experience is required, making this training suitable for anyone who wants to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
The workshop will be held on 19 and 20 November, with participants required to attend both days from 8:30am to 4:30pm at Western Plains Cultural Centre, 76 Wingewarra Street, Dubbo. The workshop is fully funded, with morning tea and lunch provided.
