Meet the colourful creatures of Colourful Kin – a joyful new collection by Reece George, a proud Martu artist living in Woodstock.
Through rich dot-work, unexpected colour and a generous sense of humour, Reece brings dogs, cats, birds and other animals vividly to life. Full of character and grounded in an Aboriginal understanding of relationship, each painting invites us to see animals as more than subjects: they are companions, personalities and kin.
Come along to meet the artist, enjoy the exhibition and share a light afternoon tea and a glass or two of delicious Rosnay Organic Wine, this Sunday, 27 September, 3pm at Rosnay Organic Wines, 510 Rivers Road, Canowindra.
Exhibition continues until Wednesday, 4 November 2026.
Original paintings will be available to purchase, including an accessible collection of smaller works created especially for local and new collectors. All are welcome.
