Service NSW Is Coming To Town: The Service NSW Mobile Service Centre returns to Canowindra on Tuesday, 4 August from 9am – 3pm at the Canowindra Connections Centre, 38 Blatchford Street. The Mobile Service Centres offer similar services to our physical sites including:

• Driver licence, photo card applications and renewals

• Driver Knowledge Tests

• Working With Children Check applications

• Hazard Perception Tests

• Applying for birth, death and marriage certificates

• Savings Finder program to access more than 70 government rebates and vouchers

Snag A Bargain This Weekend: Get ready for a fantastic weekend of hunting for hidden treasures, vintage finds, and market bargains. The highly anticipated Canowindra Swap Meet & Market Stalls is returning to the Canowindra Showground this weekend, with the main event taking place on Sunday, 2 August. Public gates open at 7am, with general admission just $5.

New Look Rates Notice: You may notice your rates notice looks a little different this year. Cabonne Council has refreshed the design to make it more modern, easier to read and simpler to understand. National Landcare Week: National Landcare Week 2026 takes place from August 3–9, 2026, centered around the theme “Experience Landcare”. The annual event highlights the vital work of over 100,000 volunteers and 6,000 groups across Australia restoring habitats, improving biodiversity, and caring for local soils, water, and ecosystems.
