School Zones Are Back In Force: With local students heading back to the classroom this week for Term 3, please remember that 40km/h school zones are officially back in effect.
School zones operate on school days from 8:00am – 9:30am and 2:30pm – 4:00pm. Let’s all do our part to keep our kids, families, and school communities safe.
Please slow down, double-check the signs, and stay completely alert behind the wheel.
Community Survey: Based on Council’s current financial position, together with ageing infrastructure, it has been determined that current service levels are unsustainable. Neighburhood Watch: The last two weeks there has been a vehicle hitting bins, road signs and more recently doing burnouts on people’s grass and nature strips. If you have any information regarding these events, please contact and report all incidents to Cowra Police.
9 Out Of 10 Bowel Cancer Cases Can Be Treated Successfully When Caught Early: Cancer Council NSW is encouraging greater participation in bowel cancer screening, as NSW currently has one of the lowest participation rates in Australia. The test is free, simple, quick and can be completed at home in your own time.
