Tigers League Tag The Tigeresses being short of numbers went down to Cowra last Saturday 26-12 after trailing at the break 12-6. Cowra scoring six tries to the Tigeresses two told the story of the day. The girls defence was not up to their usual standard and allowed Cowra too many chances.
Laura Price scored the Tigeresses points through two tries which she converted.
First Grade The boys also down on numbers, found Cowra too strong on the day going down to the tune of 34-20. The Tigers trailing 28-14 tried for a late comeback, scoring to close the gap to only eight points but Cowra scored a late try and converted it put the result beyond any doubt.
The Tigers have had a number of seasons ending injuries to five players in the last three weeks, which hasn’t helped their cause, and playing on Saturday made a few players unavailable.
Training is held on Wednesday night at 6.30pm. Lets put in a big effort for the last three games to finish the season on a high and give coach Miller the support to have a crack at Manildra this Sunday at home at Tom Clyburn Oval. The girls will be kicking off at 12.40pm and the first grade at 2pm.
