Australia Post is calling on community organisations across New South Wales to apply for its Community Grants Program, following another successful year of supporting grassroots initiatives that foster social connection to help strengthen mental wellbeing and resilience in local communities across Australia.
Last year, Australia Post funded 88 projects under the Community Grants Program with grants totalling $705,555 awarded to not-for-profit organisations across all states and territories.
In New South Wales, 31 grassroots organisations were awarded community grants in 2025, amounting to a combined total of over $250,000. This included 16 groups supporting disaster impacted communities.
Applications are now open for eligible not-for-profit groups seeking grants of up to $10,000. Australia Post has also ringfenced an additional $250,000 to fund initiatives helping communities recover, reconnect, and build resilience following natural disasters.
