A major pairs game was played on Sunday and an O’Brien Cup match.
In the O’Brien Cup it was a day Roger would like to forget as his form was nowhere to be found. His partner Eryn tried hard all game, but the match belonged to Tony and Ben, who played consistently well to win comfortably.
In the major pairs Michael and Jodie (sub) and Marc and Jamie (sub) had great tussle throughout the match, and with four ends left it was anyone’s game. Marc and Jamie held on and went on to win by a narrow margin.
O’Brien Cup and triples games are on the board, if you can check your match it would appreciated.
We had a great social games on Saturday with 12 visitingb Cowra bowlers.
Teams were mixed with local players for a fun day of fellowship in the bright sunshine.
A return visit to Cowra is planned in a couple of months.
On Monday, 14 players enjoyed a social afternoon of bowls and thanks to the organisers for all the social bowls.
Badge draws this week are Wednesday $1,500, Friday $300 and Sunday $450.
