The 31 dancers that made it to 10pm at last year’s event, many of whom did not stop dancing for the full 12 hours.
Canowindra is gearing up for a fantastic day of music and movement, with an allday dance event not to be missed. Organised by local dance enthusiasts Gail Davis and Graham Aylen, the New Vogue dance event promises 12 hours of continuous music and fun, bringing together dancers from across the region and beyond.
Live music will be playing throughout the day, with only brief intermissions covered by MC Doug Moorby. Doug will keep the energy flowing with a fantastic selection of recorded music to ensure non-stop dancing for all participants, no matter their style or skill level.
The dance event is drawing dancers from far and wide, with guests travelling from Dubbo, Victoria, Port Macquarie, the Central Coast, South Coast, the ACT, and various other towns. It’s a wonderful opportunity to catch up with fellow dance lovers, meet new friends, and enjoy a vibrant weekend out.
Entry for Sunday is just $25 per person, which includes morning tea, afternoon tea, and supper—offering excellent value for a full day of premier entertainment.
The 12 hour New Vogue dance will be held at the Canowindra Services Club Hall this year on Sunday, 21 June 2026, commencing at 10am and running until 10pm.
As an added bonus for dance enthusiasts, to make it a truly spectacular weekend of dancing, an afternoon of dance will be held in Orange with live music and entertainment on Saturday, 20 June from 2pm to 6pm at the Orange Baptist Church Hall.
