Thank you for the glowing article on the launch of Canowindra Baroquefest 2026, on 18-20 September. I’m delighted to tell you that all of the A Reserve passes for the full three day, five concert program sold out on-line within a few weeks of the website’s relaunch. I believe we are achieving a level of recognition across much of NSW as was enjoyed for thirty years by Mudgee’s iconic Huntington Music Festival. More than half of our attendees come to the now eleven year old festival from Sydney, Canberra, Wollongong, Blue Mountains, southern highlands and interstate. Van Diemen’s Band from Hobart is arguably Australia’s leading early music ensemble. Ten of their top musicians and Australia’s Bryn Terfel, bass- baritone Andrew O’Connor will spend three days at Canowindra.
The full, varied program can be seen, and tickets with various combinations of concerts, and individual concert tickets can be purchased at www.baroquefest.org.au.
One day, as became the case for Huntington Music Festival, they will all be sold out a year in advance!
