
Bulky Waste Collection: Place waste out 9 -10 May for collection from Monday, 11 May 2026. This service is available for residents that currently have a regular bin service/ waste collection service with Cabonne Council. All items should be placed neatly next to the edge of the kerb not blocking the footpath at your normal weekly collection point. NSW Tourism Awards 2026 Now Open: Nominations are now open for NSW Tourism Association’s 2026 NSW Tourism Awards, recognising the operators, experiences and destinations driving the state’s visitor economy. For the first time this year, entrants will also have access to a dedicated mentoring program, offering one-on-one guidance and support from experienced judges and industry professionals to help them strengthen their submission. Honouring The Fallen: Local councils, RSL sub–branches, and community groups are encouraged to apply for the 2026/27 Community War Memorials fund. The fund support a diverse range of projects, including repairs, professional cleaning, arborist reports for memorial trees and avenues, accessibility improvements, minor repairs to memorial halls, conservation assessments, and specialist heritage advice.
