There were some close matches over the week. Marc and Graham faced off in the minor singles on Thursday. Marc raced to an early lead and looked to head awaywith the the win. Graham fought back andreached striking distance to snatch a vic­tory but Marc held on to win 25/20. Erynand Greg C also played their minor sin­gles match with Greg C having a solid winagainst Eryn.

Ben and Cristy played a major singlesmatch with Ben having a solid win.Cris­ty tried hard all game but couldn’t matchBen’s consistency of draw bowls.

Canowindra teams have been travellingaway recently with a good day at Milthorpelast week. Teams also travelled to Cudalfor a charity day. Mathew, Barney and Erynhad a great day winning the day and donat­ed their prize to the Cancer Council – thecharity on the day. Congratulations to allplayers supporting Cudal Club’s fundrais­ing.

It was a great afternoon of music andfun on Sunday with many members andvisitors taking the opportunity to enjoy a re­laxing afternoon.Thanks to everyone whohelped organise the event and helped onthe day. The morning breakfast also wentoff well and thanks to all helpers on the day.

Congratulations to the winners of thezone 4, sections 3 and 4, who played at theclub on the weekend Caragabal were the winners of the grade 4 and Parkes Town won section 3.

There were many events happening over the weekend and thanks for all the support from many people who assisted in any way.

Badge draws this week are Wednesday $1,100, Friday $300 and Sunday $200.

There are some matches being played during the coming week and other games can be played by arrangement. Saturday has been left free for the balloon festival.

The pairs draw are on the board and if you know you are going to be away please organise games prior. We hope our mem­bers and visitors enjoy the balloons week.
