The final of the open fours was held on Sunday 22 March. Tony, Ben, Peter Blye and Caine went to an early lead and were never headed.Tony and Ben played excellent bowls throughout the day, supported by Caine and Peter. Brent, Phil, Tot and Corey (sub) tried their best but it wasn’t their day.

It was good to see a couple of new bowlers involved in a final of open fours event – congratulations to all.

This weekend the minor singles and major singles games are drawn. If for any reason you can’t play, games should be completed by Easter Monday.

On Easter Monday social bowls are planned at 1pm, please get your names in. A BBQ will be available following the match.

On the pennant front, the first games are scheduled for 9 May in Manildra at 11am.

The following rounds will be held at Parkes Railway Bowling Club on 16-17 May.

Grooves on the Green coming up on 12 April. The Zone men’s pennant playoffs are to be held on 11-12 April, so come along and see the regional teams play.
