It will be a sizzling start to balloon week 2026 with the annual Welcome Street Party BBQ Competition brought to you by the Canowindra Progress Association on Saturday 11 April.
Come along and show off your BBQ mastery in one of the qualyfying rounds including wagyu steak, rump steak, lamb rack, butterfly chicken, pork belly or hamburger.
The winner of each round will go into the final Mystery Box Challenge.
Entry is $20 per piece of meat you would like to BBQ. The BBQ, meat, utensils and olive oil are all provided, but be sure to bring along your favourite spices to get your meat sizzling and impress the judges.
Gaskill street will be lined with a variety of food and drink stalls and there will be a licenced bar on the street. The crowd will be entertained with live music by the Neil Gill Band.
