A Resilient Homes Expo Is Coming To Eugowra

18 March, 2026 By Canowindra Phoenix Editor

The Reconstruction Authority’s final expo in their current series of Resilient Homes Expos will be held in Eugowra on Wednesday 25 March, 4pm – 7pm at Eugowra Showground, 63 Oberon St, Eugowra.

This event will support Resilient Homes Program participants and community members looking to make their homes more flood‑resilient. Head along to learn about the Resilient Homes Program grant process, development approvals, and how resilient design can be successfully delivered.

Homeowners and business representatives can visit information stands and speak with representatives from councils, NSW Reconstruction Authority, and various businesses helping to deliver resilient building services in the Central West.

This Expo is particularly important for anyone who still has questions about whether they are eligible to receive a grant to make their home better able to withstand a flood.

The Expo will provide opportunities to:

• Learn about Resilient Homes Program grants

• See examples of flood-resilient building materials and techniques

• Meet builders who can complete home upgrades.

Homeowners impacted by flooding in November 2022 are encouraged to submit their application to the Resilient Homes Program by 31 March 2026 to ensure work can be completed and paid before the program closes in 2027.
