Men’s Bowls

4 February, 2026 By Canowindra Phoenix Editor

We had two singles played Tuesday evening with Peter Blyth playing another newcomer Peter Tanti. Peter B came out firing racing to a big lead 14/1. Little Pete fought back strongly in the second half. Big Pete ran out winning 25/19.

In the second game Roger Traves played newcomer Corey Rooke. In the early stages of the game scores were even 12/12. Corey was playing excellent bowls putting pressure on the more experienced Roger. Experience prove essential in the win for Roger final score 25/13.

Great to see new bowlers playing in both singles formats gaining experience in the game.
