Canowindra Golf Club Kitchen Renovations Underway

21 January, 2026 By Canowindra Phoenix Editor

The Canowindra Golf Club is buzzing with excitement as it prepares to unveil a significant upgrade to its facilities, ensuring a top-tier experience both on and off the course.

The Club is currently undertaking a comprehensive renovation of its kitchen, a key project designed to modernise the space and, most importantly, welcome an eagerly anticipated new catering partner. This substantial investment reflects the Golf Club’s commitment to serving its members and the wider community with high-quality dining options.

The Golf Club Board led by Annette Thomas along with the help from local tradespeople have been integral to the project, ensuring the club is supporting the community while transforming its hospitality capacity. The project is on track for completion just in time for the new operators to move in.

The driving force behind this exciting revamp is the imminent arrival of Flagstick Bistro, the new culinary team set to take over next month. Flagstick Bistro is already generating considerable local buzz, with its reputation for serving contemporary Australian cuisine.

“This is a fantastic moment for the Golf Club. The kitchen renovation, coupled with Flagstick Bistro coming on board, marks a significant new chapter. We believe the community will be absolutely thrilled with the quality and variety of food on offer. It’s all about creating a welcoming, and memorable experience for everyone who walks through our doors and reinforcing our role as a community cornerstone,” President of the Canowindra Golf Club, Annette Thomas said.
