The much-anticipated Moyne Christmas Carols did not quite go to plan last Saturday, with the weather bringing an abrupt halt to the Carols in the garden. Following a quick change of location and an adjustment to the plan, the Carols went off without a hitch and the Christmas spirit was truly alive and well.
The room was brimming with residents, families and visitors all ready to share in the joy of singing. Santa dropped in for a visit in his PJs and the Canowindra Community Choir performed five songs. The girls from Alikenetic Dance Studio adapted their dances on the go as they did not have much room to move, but still did a magnificent job, and Melissa’s nephew’s Mac, Harry and Angus sang a song or two much to the delight of everyone.
A huge thankyou to the Moyne staff who went above and beyond on Saturday night to ensure everyone had a wonderful time.
