The Guilty Dogs will be performing this Sunday at the Canowindra Bowling Club.
Canowindra’s Sunday Session at The Bowlo is back on Sunday 21 December from 4pm with a stellar line up of some of the best regional musical talent.
Join the Guilty Dogs and their friends this Sunday afternoon, performing their traditional end of year sets. They will be bringing along local and regional musicians to perform alongside them on stage.
From Honkey Tonk to Malibu the band always bring their energy and crowd favourites. They came together during the pandemic and have honed their musical repertoire to bring crowds a unique blend of rock, blues and classic hits that resonates with audiences of all ages.
“We love playing at the Sunday Sessions, the crowd is always fun, and everyone is there for a good time. The Christmas gig has always been our favourite as there is such a special end of year summery atmosphere” says guitarist Andrew ‘Wooly’ Wooldridge.
“Come and request a tune or wait and see who we invite to join us from the audience! There may be a special visit from the big man in red himself”. We would all be keen to hear what tunes Santa requests!
Event organiser Eleena Markcrow says, “The Sunday Sessions at The Bowlo started seven years ago and have become such a great part of the community. We are all grateful to the Bowling Club to have been so welcoming and allowing our regional musicians and artists have a space to perform with such an attentive audience. We look forward to having the Guilty Dogs and their friends back again this week!”
This free community event is family friendly. There will be a kid’s arts table set up, BBQ sizzling thanks to the men’s bowls team and the Chinese restaurant is also open. The club has Christmas ham, meat and voucher raffles plus the roll up jackpot.
The courtesy bus is running in town.
