
Dairy Farmers Milk Co-operative Chairman Trevor Middlebrook presented Liz and Kevin Sheehan with their trophy.
The Sheehan Family of Canowindra have been awarded the Dairy Farmers Milk Cooperative (DFMC) National winner of the Ian Stewart Milk Quality Awards for 2025.
They also take out the regional NSW milk quality category.
Kevin, Liz and family produced 2.8M litres on a partial mixed ration operation in Canowindra with 4.6% Butterfat, 3.5% Protein, 151 SCC and 3500 TPC. This fantastic result is testament to their ongoing commitment to producing high quality product.
The award was presented by DFMC Chairman Trevor Middlebrook at the DFMC 2025 AGM held from 5-7 November in McLaren Vale, South Australia.
Dairy Farmers Milk Co-operative represent over 200 members from more than 100 farms in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia. Together they supply over 150 million litres of milk every year to Bega Dairy and Drinks in a long-term partnership which provides a quality product to Bega and security to members.
