Diginity Bags: Recently Canowindra Connections Centre and Canowindra Country Womens Association Branch worked together to put together Dignity Bags that were then donated to Canowindra Hospital to be given to patients when they are admitted to ensure they have essential items for their stay, particularly unexpected hospital visits. CWA President Cathy Smith said, “We have put these bags together for people who arrive at hospital with no possessions. The bags contain soap, shampoo, toothbrush and paste, brush or comb and a pair of undies. The bags are reusable and made by members of the CWA and both organisations have contributed to the items.”
