Christmas Cake Orders Available Now: This year, the Canowindra CWA members will be cooking Christmas cakes to order. They will have a selection of their tasty Christmas cakes available with prices as follows: small $15, medium $25, and large $35. Text or call Collette Armstrong on 0429 929 678 to place your order. Orders close on 15 November.
Spread The Christmas Cheer – Buy Two, Donate One: Shop local and support local families this Christmas. Shop at Lawrences IGA for your Christmas table this year and at the same time help put those who need help during Christmas. Just buy two of something you want or need and then place one in the trolley located near the front of IGA. All donations will be included in Christmas Hampers and distributed through Canowindra Connections Centre.

Celebrate 150 Years Of Public Education In Canowindra: The long-awaited “Come Home” weekend planned by the Canowindra Public and High School’s is finally here! Head along to the Canowindra Public School Fete and Open Day this Saturday, 1 November for a fun-filled family morning from 11am to 2pm. Then on Sunday, enjoy a relaxed morning with family and friends, at the Canowindra High School Open Day and Picnic Brunch from 8am to 12pm.
Teddy Bear Picnic: Last week the Canowindra High School Year 10 Child Studies students hosted a fun-filled Teddy Bear picnic at Morris Park. It was an outstanding event, expertly planned by the students themselves including a delicious menu, featuring homemade slices, sandwiches, biscuits, teddy bear cupcakes, fruit cups, quiches, and sausage rolls. The mums, dads and little ones who attended all had a wonderful time. Well done to the students!
