Food Basket is turning 16: Food Basket has been serving the community of Canowindra for 16 years and this Friday 17 October they are going to be celebrating with a party at Food Basket. Normal shopping will be on, but there will also be a BBQ, party food and of course a cake to celebrate. There will even be a lucky door prize. Head along and check out some of the history of Food Basket and help them celebrate this huge milestone.

Mid-Lachlan Landcare: This month Mid Lachlan Landcare are hosting two exciting family-friendly events starting with the Great Southern Bioblitz and Picnic on Monday 27 October at Cowra Adventure Playground.
