Last week four students represented Canowindra High School at the CHS State Athletics Championships, showcasing their talent and determination on the big stage.
Competing against the best in the state is no small feat, and each of the Canowindra athletes rose to the challenge with courage and commitment.
Sam Hamilton shone in the 16 years 800m, powering home to finish 11th and achieving a personal best time, an incredible reward for his commitment and training.
Hayley Hampton displayed her versatility and resilience by competing across four events, placing 17th in the 200m, 13th in the High Jump, 16th in the Discus and 16th in the Long Jump. Alyssa Price represented with great determination in the Javelin, finishing 18th and giving her absolute best in an unfamiliar event. Seth Middis leapt into action in the High Jump, securing a strong 14th place in a competitive field.
These results highlight not only the talent of our athletes, but also their commitment and dedication in representing Canowindra High School.
