Canowindra Show is on 26 and 27 Septem­ber and the Ladies Auxiliary in the Cobley Pavilion offer a range of excellent sections to enter. SECTION T – CUT FLOWERS

ENTRIES: To be ready for judging 9.30am Friday of the showConditions of Entry: Two exhibits in each class or no prize awarded, unless judge considers worth of prize. All exhibits to have been grown by exhibitor. Bulbs in­clude Tubers, Corms & Rhizomes. Cut flowers presented in unmarked jars or bot­tles — no vases accepted.

Categories: 1. Camellia 1 bloom informal, 2. Camellia 1 bloom formal, 3. Camellia 3 blooms, 4. Marguerites (Daisies) 3 cuts, 5. Pelargonium or Geraniums 3 cuts each, 6. Orchid 1 spike, 7. Calendula 3 cuts, 8. Pansies 6 cuts, 9. Polyanthus 3 cuts, 10. Stock 1 spike without laterals, 11. Sweet Peas 3 cuts, 12. Collection of Primula, 13. Cut flowers 6 cuts no shrubs and no bulbs, 14. Any flower not mentioned 1 cut no shrubs and no bulbs, 15. Bulbs 3 cuts 1 cut of each (not same species), 16. Any bulb bloom not mentioned l cut bloom or spike, 17. Ranunculus 1 cut, 18. Anemone 1 cut, 19. Arum Lily 1 cut, 20. Daffodil 1 cut, 21. Daffodil 3 cuts, 22. Dutch Iris 1 cut, 23. Iris not mentioned 1 cut, 24. Tulip 1 bloom, 25. Freesia 1 cut, 26. Freesia 3 cuts, 27. Shrub 1 cut (no more than 60cm in length), 28. Tree and/or Shrub Bloom 3 cuts, 29. Azal­ea 1 cut, 30. Azalea 3 cuts.

Conditions of entry: Any embellishments may be used but not necessary.

FLOWER Categories: 1. Beauty with Ca­mellias, 2. Decorative basket low arrange­ment, 3. Decorative arrangement of mixed bulbs or tuber blooms any container, 4.

Single flower arrangement, 5. Modern line arrangement of five flowers, 6. Colours of Spring Arrangement, 7. Modern arrange­ment of flowers in one colour toning, cen­tres allowed, 8. Best arrangement of foli­age, 9. Dining table arrangement, under 8” high, candles allowed, 10. Decorative arrangement of mixed flowers, frontal ef­fect, traditional, any container, 11. Bunch of flowers from your garden, 12. Arrangement of sweet peas, 13. Arrangement depicting song title (Song to be named), 14. Arrange­ment of Native flowers, 15. Arrangement of Roses, 15a. CWA Arrangement of Blue & Yellow Colours.

POT PLANTS Categories (pot size 30cm no more): 16. Pot plant fern, 17. Pot plant cyclamen in flower, 18. Any other pot plant in flower, 19. Pot Plant coloured leaf, 20.

Orchid cymbidium pot plant, 21. Orchid pot plant, 22. Pot plant indoor foliage, 23. Pot plant succulent.

Decorative Flowers by Year 7 to Year 12 (High School) Category: 26b. Arrangement in a Jug.

Decorative Flowers by Ages 5 to 8 Years Categories: 27. Arrangement for a Cubby House, 28. Decorative Saucer.

Pre-School Age Categories: 29. Arrange­ment on a Small Kitchen Utensil, 30. Ar­rangement in a Shoe or Boot.
