Canowindra Show is on 26 and 27 September and the Ladies Auxiliary in the Cobley Pavilion offer a range of excellent sections to enter. Over the coming weeks, the Canowindra Phoenix will be hilighting some of the sections you may consider entering.
SECTION O – DAIRY, FRUIT AND GARDEN PRODUCE
Entries: Exhibits must be in pavilion ready for judging by 9.30am Friday of Show. Most fruit and vegetables are best picked on the same day that they will be judged, due to wilting and that they haven’t reached their full maturity. Others such as onions and pumpkins can be picked early and entered from Wednesday before show. Remember uniform size, shape and colour. Exhibits must be grown by exhibitor. Exhibits to place on white plates or white cardboard plates, unless otherwise instructed. At least one egg will be broken. Bunches or collections of herbs to be displayed in clear containers of water that is an appropriate size for the exhibit. All exhibits must have an entry ticket attached otherwise the exhibits will be classed out.
