Last week, staff at Roshana Moyne Aged Care surprised the residents with a full-sized juke box, purchased with money raised from the sale of pavers that were removed to allow for construction of the new footpath.
Lifestyle Services Coordinator, Melissa Delaney said, “When I was asked to come up with an idea for the money, I knew immediately what we should spend it on.
“We have many music lovers here at Moyne and what better way to share their love of music than with a juke box. It is in the main activity area for all to use and enjoy.”
The juke box is a very welcome addition to Moyne, with residents happily singing and dancing along to it all afternoon.
Everyone is invited to join in the fun, so head out to Moyne for happy hour and kick your heels up, most Friday’s from 2pm.
