We had two games of triples on the weekend.The first match on Saturday had new and return bowlers playing, which was good to see. Eryn, Greg and Marc went to an early lead and look in command, but Steve, Jarrod and Dave fought back to narrow the score. Even being reduced to single shots on the end couldn’t bridge the margin.
In the game on Sunday Michael, Brad and Barry had a good win over Bob, Kris and Cristy. Bob, Kris and Cristy pushed them all the way in a good contest. It is good to see the new bowlers competing in competition and they are improving every time they play.
This Saturday we have the zone rookies singles playing their first sectional play. We have three players involved with Mitch,Greg C and Greg W. We wish them all the best.
Play commences at 9am.
The final of the major singles will be played on Sunday at 11am between Dool and Ben. Teddy has been appointed marker for the game.
A triple match between Eryn, Marc and Greg W vs Jamie S, Jamie G and Tim will depend on results on Saturday.
