
The load limit on Payten’s Bridge has been returned to 42.5 tonnes.
Paytens Bridge Load Limit Returned To 42.5 Tonnes: From Monday 21 July the load limit on Paytens Bridge, 11km southwest of Eugowra, will return to 42.5 tonnes. However, a three-metre reduced lane width will remain in place due to the Bailey bridge remaining in place to support the bridge structure. An ongoing reduced speed limit of 10km/hr while crossing the bridge will be in place. Vehicles over three metres wide travelling between Eugowra and Lachlan Valley Way will not be able to use Paytens Bridge Road and will need to detour via Casuarina Drive to Gooloogong.
Grab A Bargain This Weekend: Whether you’re looking to grab a bargain or searching for a treasure, the popular annual Canowindra Swap Meet is the place to be this Sunday, 3 August at the Canowindra Showground. Gates open at 6:30am, with an entry fee of $5. The annual swap meet is the biggest fundraiser the Canowindra Pony Club holds, with the proceeds going directly to the running costs for the club.
Refalo Free Range Pork Farm Shop Opening At Rosnay: David and Sarah Refalo of Refalo Free Range Pork are currently setting up a shop inside the Rosnay Organic Wines cellar door. Their fresh and frozen pork and delicious smallgoods will all be available from the cellar door daily. The opening date has not yet been set, but when we will keep you posted on this exciting new development.
