Congratulations to the Canowindra High School students who ran in the Western Area Cross Country Championships.
Last Wednesday, 11 June, eight students from Canowindra High School attended the Western Area Cross Country Championships at Gosling Creek in Orange. Students were greeted by extremely cold conditions that challenged their endurance.
Congratulations to Emily Bullock, Addison Ryan, Finn Grey, Sasha Adams, Doug Monk, Ruby Lewis, Sam Hamilton and Eliose Newell who competed on the day.
Students were looking to finish in the top six for their respective age groups to qualify for the NSW All Schools Cross Country in Sydney later this month. Eloise Newell, Addison Ryan and Sam Hamilton were all successful in their pursuit to qualify for the next stage.
