Rural Cup Win For CHS: Last Thursday Canowindra hosted Oberon High School for our first round of the 2025 Rural Cup.

Big wins in open mixed netball, senior boys league, junior and senior netball as well as league tag assisted the scoreline to accelerate in Canowindra’s favour. The final score resulted in a Canowindra victory, 303 – 268. Well done, students of Canowindra High!
Experts Urge Vigilance With RSV Ahead Of Winter: Older Australians are being urged to become more informed and alert to RSV (respiratory syncytial virus) ahead of winter, especially when caring for young grandchildren, and talk to their doctor or pharmacist about RSV and prevention options. While RSV is recognised for its seriousness in young babies, the virus can also cause significant health issues in older adults including pneumonia and hospitalisations.
