Three Social games were played on Tuesday 6 May. Jeanette Wheeldon, Kris Cann and Penny Nash defeated Deanna Noble, Pauline Carpenter and Gwen Haydon 1918. Sandy McDonald, Cierwen Jones, and Jennifer Middleton defeated Kathy Nelson (played 2 positions) and Christine Pickard 21-19. Sue Slattery, Sharon Wynn and Libby Balcombe defeated Moyna Rue, Annette Lynch and Karen Cox 24-13.
The semi-finals of the Majors Pairs were also played. Di Mooney and Betty Jenkins defeated Joyce Boland and Liz Thornberry. 25-15.
The final of the Majors Pairs will be played next Tuesday, between: Di Mooney and Betty Jenkins V Jenny Middleton and Jenny Mc Clintock.
