Introducing Blulink: Connecting Police And Community

7 May, 2025 By Canowindra Phoenix Editor

Stay safe and stay connectedwith BluLink.

Have you heard about BluLink? It’s an amazing platform powered by GoodSAM that allows you to share crucial information with the NSW Police Force.

When you call Triple Zero for police assistance in an emergency, you may now receive a text message. Whether it’s your location, live streaming an incident, or sending digital media files, BluLink makes it easy and secure. The main features include:

• Live Video: Stream live video footage directly to police dispatchers.

• Location Sharing: Share your GPS location if you’re unsure of your exact whereabouts.

• Chat/Message: Have a text conversation if you can’t speak, with messages translatable into over 100 languages.

• Attachment Upload: Send photos or videos to assist with investigations.

Police will use the information you provide to help provide assistance. The link you receive is a one-off link that is available to only you and Police, meaning the information you provide is secure. There is no need to download anything beforehand.

BluLink is accessible through a web portal, ensuring your information is secure and only shared with the police. Stay safe and stay connected.

For emergencies, always call Triple Zero (000). For non-emergencies, contact 131 444 or Crime Stoppers at 1800 333 000
