Meet ‘Eve’ This Saturday: Grown in Canowindra, ‘Eve’ the giant pumpkin weighs in at around 340kg and has a circumference of 360cms. She is all set to participate in the Street Parade at the balloon festival on Saturday and if you’d like to meet her in person, she’ll be on display in the main street after the parade.
Looking For Volunteers – Get Involved! The Canowindra Historical Society Museum needs a hand, and they’d love yours. Whether you’re into meeting people, organising things, or even writing a book or an article for Facebook or the website, there’s something for everyone to do. Don’t worry – they will provide all the training and support you need. It’s a great way to get involved (especially for newcomers to the town). Cr Beatty will be available at the Canowindra Library on Thursday, 15 May between 10am and 1pm.
