The Canowindra number 5’s had a good win over Parkes Town on Sunday 23 March, winning the big board 66/56. This was predominantly thanks to the big win by David Crowe’s side, but the other two teams had small losses also keeping the big board in our favour. Special mention to Monique for driving the bus. Thanks for Margo helping out through out pennants looking after big board and to all the players for taking the time to represent us in pennants this season. Both grades performed well.
Bowlers don’t forget to get your name in for the Vinnie Mirto Memorial Bowls Day on Saturday at 11am. Names will be put into teams on the day with a triples format planned.
We look forward to the pairs next weekend for the start of the season of competition bowls. The competition should be completed by the second week of May.
