Cabonne Family Day Care and Cabonne Home Support have joined together to hold a playgroup session for seniors and children to come together for a morning of fun.
The next playgroup session will be held on Monday, 3 March from 10am to 12pm at the St Edwards School Hall.
Activities for the morning include reading books, making music, puzzle drawing and interacting with each other. Activities such as this are beneficial for both groups, allowing them the opportunity to build relationships and maintain connections with their community.
Due to the amazing emotional and mental benefits of intergenerational friendships for both seniors and children, Cabonne Council are running these sessions once a month.
