It Is A Small World: There is certainly truth in the old adage ‘It is a small world’. This week Canowindra locals Tom and Al Stephens bumped into Jenny Laing at the Taj Mahal in Agra, India. You just never know when you will run into someone from our small twon!

Twilight Golf Is Back: On Friday afternoon, after a long week at work, why not head to the Golfie with some of your work mates, friends and family, for 6 holes of golf and try your luck with the Lucky Lock sponsored by Canobolas Locksmith. Starts this Friday 21 February. Week 1 kindly sponsored by Winmoore Lodge.

Reminder – Canowindra Town Improvement Fund Survey: Council is inviting Canowindra town residents to provide input on how more than $1.5 million in the Canowindra Town Improvement Fund Reserve should be allocated for community infrastructure projects. This is an opportunity to help shape the priorities for the 2025–26 Budget and beyond:

• Complete it online: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/CanowindraTI

• Visit Council’s Canowindra office: 39 Blatchford Street (Masonic Lodge).

Survey closes Friday, 28 February 2025.

Attention All Singers: The Canowindra Choristers are seeking new members for the choir. They invite any interested people who enjoy singing and being part of the community to join them this Saturday 22 February at Delice Coffee Shop at 2pm. Under the amazing control and accompaniment of Dr Roz Bullock not only do they sing, but laugh, chat, drink coffee and have fun. No audition required, all are welcome!

Crafternoon: The next Crafternoon will be held this Sunday 23 February from 1pm at the CWA Hall in Blatchford St. Bring along your own handcraft projects or help make some dignity bags for a local organisation. Gold coin donation. A cuppa will be available as well.

New Trading Hours: Perennialle Plants, Emporium & Café, we will now be closed on Wednesdays as well as Tuesdays. They will now be open Thursday to Monday. But don’t worry, the online store is always open, so you can shop for your favorite plants, gifts, and garden essentials anytime, 24/7.
